Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. I'm a middle aged beauty(yeah right) that loves nail polish along with makeup and skincare. I don't know how much I'll be able to teach but I just want to have fun with this and hope you all do enjoy or at least get a laugh from it. To let you know where I got the name from: I just became a grandmother for the first time on September 13, 2011 and had made it a fact that I would not be granny or grandma. I am gonna be a Mimi, hence the name.

Jawbreaker by Pretty and Polished

Jawbreaker is a gorgeous indie polish from Pretty and Polished which you can check out here . Chelsea named the polish after the candy and you can totally see why. It is a milky white base with multi colored and shaped glitters.






Sorry for the lobster hands, I had to take these pics indoors and the lighting would not co-operate with me.
This is three coats without a topcoat.

  2. Love it! I added half a pot of glitter to a navy blue, and unless a piece of glitter goes on wrong and sticks up to catch the light, its just a gritty, navy blue! Guess thats the difference between amateur franken polishing and pro formulas. Love your blog! Followed x
