Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. I'm a middle aged beauty(yeah right) that loves nail polish along with makeup and skincare. I don't know how much I'll be able to teach but I just want to have fun with this and hope you all do enjoy or at least get a laugh from it. To let you know where I got the name from: I just became a grandmother for the first time on September 13, 2011 and had made it a fact that I would not be granny or grandma. I am gonna be a Mimi, hence the name.

China Glaze Party Hearty

China Glaze Party Hearty, a multi color and size glitter from the 2010 Tis' The Season collection. I suppose you could use 3 or 4 (or more) coats and make it opaque but while I was doing a swatchathon and had used   OPI Here Today...Aragon Tomorrow Suede, that's what I went with for layering it over.




It's a great polish and seems to be harder to find these days, I lucked up and saw this on a blog sale. I definitely will be wearing it around Christmas time.

  1. This look perfect for Christmas! I hardly ever pick up glitter..but I would love to try out these multi-size ones..looks quite nice the way you have layered it :)
