Hi everyone! Welcome to my blog. I'm a middle aged beauty(yeah right) that loves nail polish along with makeup and skincare. I don't know how much I'll be able to teach but I just want to have fun with this and hope you all do enjoy or at least get a laugh from it. To let you know where I got the name from: I just became a grandmother for the first time on September 13, 2011 and had made it a fact that I would not be granny or grandma. I am gonna be a Mimi, hence the name.

Zoya Julie

I have another Zoya lovely to show you from the spring 2013 Lovely collection. May I introduce you to Julie.



Accoding to the Zoya website, Julie is described as a full coverage soft wisteria purple metallic. To me it screams spring. It is a soft purple with the hint of shimmery particles. This is two coats which covered completely with no problems at all.
Zoya can be purchased on their website for $8.00 or at Ulta's. Since I have no Ulta's in WV I depend on the website.

  1. Lovely. I would like to stamp on it with a slightly darker purple for a really subtle manicure.

    1. Thanks and I think stamping with a darker purple would be great. I've only tried stamping a couple of times and haven't gotten the hang of it.
